Thomson Reuters Practical Law has partnered with Cooley to launch a new Global Guide on Product Liability and Safety. Leveraging its extensive network of thought leaders with deep-rooted experience and local insights, Cooley coordinated the production of the guide which covers 32 countries.
The chapters for each of the covered jurisdictions outline laws and regulations, requirements to establish liability, initiating litigation proceedings, thresholds for burden of proof, recent enforcement claims trends and more. Among the contributors, Rod Freeman (General Editor) and Cooley lawyers Sarah-Jane Dobson and Carol Roberts – who also played a pivotal role in the guide’s production – provide an overview of the EU product liability and product safety mandates.
